 After they sat with Santa, Courtney and Emmitt helped each other take care of one of Sophia's "babies."

 Momma made turkey and no one could wait for sides or napkins or a table setting or anything.

 

Halloween 2012

 Baba wore a bright yellow shirt that said, "Keep calm and carry a light saber." And he some how didn't make it in to one picture. He insisted that Emmitt be Yoda. Courtney was a.....well.. a pony or princess...hum... she had a mask and a crown, I put a cutie mark on her pants and made her a dress/vest like the ponies only no frills. I was a witch because I  found some fun tights that matched Baba's shirt a week before 40% off.

 

 

Reading program with Results

 Courtney won the drawing for 2 tickets to the local water park, Wet and Wild, through the summer reading program at the public library.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Summer 2012 Fun

 

 Another neighbor and I,  put the kids in wagons and walked down to the annul summer solstice festival in the Arboretum. We did some dancing, saw the sites and had a snack. Those two kids got heavy on the way home and I felt like I was dragging them, but Courtney was doing something that was making Emmitt scream with laughter the whole way home.

 

Summer Swimming

 Swim Lessons at Lindley pool with Ms. Jessica 2012. By the end of the summer Courtney was the last kid standing, the soul kid to sign up for the last session so she had private lessons.
