Happy Halloween!

We had a really nice time trick or treating around the neighborhood. And we enjoyed chili and beer at our neighbor Jennifer's!

Science Class

We have been going to science class and learning alot.

We started out learning about bouyancy in Bree and Allie's pool!

This is a demonstartion aboutwater temperatures.

Emmit comes along and naps if things get too exciting.

Building our volcanoes with plaster of paris,

And then we filled them up and watched them over flow.

Here is a spontaneous experiment with mud!

These are are brine shrimp.

we are experimenting with our brine shrimp and will check on them next week.

An Unexpected Trip to Louisiana

Early on the norning of September 27, 2011, Alicia's father Newman dewiit Matthews, Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep. so we got in the car and took the 14 hour journey to Louisiana. We got to visit alot of realatives that we had not seen in a while

An earthquake and Hurricane Irene

Uncle Pate came to stay with us as hurricane Irene knocked out his power for a day and also some trees in his front yaed.

Poppy Comes to Visit.

Poppy came and we had fun. She got to know Emmitt. He liked to sit on her lap looking out and as long as she was moving his arms up and down he was very happy! While she was here Emmitt started to give us half smiles just like Poppy. And everyone got well worn out, one night both my babies fell asleep on me in the bouncey chair.
